This picture piece is a two part work of art. 

The gemstone: Shajar Agate is a rare and prized dendritic agate known for its delicate and natural blooms. The word "Shajar" comes from the Arabic word "tree" and is worn as a protective talisman.

Associated with grounding energy, connection to nature, aligned with the root chakra, a stone of abundance and emotional balance.

The silver botanical:  A once living budding bush, picked in early spring, is cast into sterling silver.  I manipulated and soldered this beautiful organic piece into a unique one of a kind necklace that will live on forever.

Once done, an antique finish was added to bring out the natural crevices and textures of the plant.
